Admissions
At The Q, students learn through curiosity, collaboration, and strong relationships. We take time to understand each child and support them as they grow with confidence.
We view admissions as the start of a relationship. It gives us time to get to know your child, and welcomes your family into the creativity, connection, and shared purpose that shape our school community.
How to Apply
We’ve designed our admissions process to be straightforward and easy to follow.
1. Schedule a Tour
Visit our school to observe classrooms, meet the director, and experience daily life at The Q.

2. Submit Your Application
Please complete the application for the program you’re applying to. You’ll be prompted to create a Brightwheel account to access and submit your materials. There is a $150 application fee, which will be added to your account and paid after your application is reviewed by our admissions team.
3. Family Interview / Student Visit
Applicants in all grades will have a family interview. Applicants in Grades 1 - 8 are invited to schedule a visit in the classroom to get a feel for our learning environment.
4. Admissions Decision
Admissions and tuition assistance notifications are shared on February 5, 2026.

Tuition & Tuition Assistance
We believe access to a community-centered education should be possible for families with a wide range of financial circumstances. Need-based tuition assistance is available for Elementary and Middle School applicants.
Tuition Rates
Kindergarten $16,000 Per Year
Grades 1 – 8 $18,000 Per Year
The Q StudioLab offers multiple payment plans and limited, need-based tuition assistance to qualifying
families.
Payment Plan Options
Families may pay tuition in one of three ways:

One Payment Plan: Tuition is due in full on July 1.

10 Month Payment Plan: Tuition is due each month beginning August 1, with the final installment due on April 1.

12 Month Payment Plan: Tuition is due each month beginning on July 1, with the final installment due May 1.
